Camp blankets were originally used by shepherds to brave the elements of the Pacific Northwest—right where Pendleton's rugged wool versions are still woven today.
These smaller-sized blankets make a great gift for outdoor enthusiasts.
Made in the USA at local Pacific Northwest mills.
Pendleton is a family-owned company established in 1863 and headquartered in Portland, Oregon. For more than 100 years, we’ve been weaving world-class woolens in our two Pacific Northwest mills.
Wool is one of the oldest fibers used by humans, dating back thousands of years. At Pendleton, our wool expertise dates back 150 years—making us one of the oldest wool manufacturers in the United States. Pendleton wool products are naturally sustainable, thanks to the wonderful properties of wool itself.
Wool is naturally renewable, has a long lifespan, is recyclable and biodegradable, and needs less care.
Pendleton Eco-Wise Wool® - A special collection of its wool products are certified by MBDC (Cradle to Cradle) for sustainability. These products can assist with those seeking LEEDs certifications for their homes. All Eco-Wise Wool® products are made in our Washougal, Washington, mill, and are certified as Biological Nutrients, since at the end of their long lifecycle they can be returned to the earth in composting.
Pendleton's two mills, in Pendleton, Oregon, and Washougal, Washington, have been in production for more than 100 years, producing premium fabrics for apparel and home. We adhere to strict manufacturing processes using widely recognized environmental standards.
Pendleton adopts a “closed loop” philosophy for their production processes. They reuse mill scraps—fabric ends, selvage trim plus other odds and ends—to create additional products. These scraps are also coveted by crafters and artists. When unable to be reused, mill scrap is recycled.
